Probate Courts are divisions of the Courts of Common Pleas in Ohio and they have exclusive jurisdiction over certain special types of cases: estates, guardianships of incompetent persons and minors, name changes of adults and minors, and adoptions. The probate court also issues marriage licenses.

The Wayne County Court of Common Pleas, Probate Division is located on the 2nd Floor of the Wayne County Courthouse on the Northwest corner of Liberty and Market Streets at 107 West Liberty in Wooster, Ohio.
